ISST Schroth Camp Singapore
If you or your child has been diagnosed with scoliosis, kyphosis, or other spinal deformities, you may have heard of the Schroth method – a specialized, conservative treatment approach that focuses on three-dimensional correction of the spine. In Singapore, individuals now have the opportunity to take part in a 4-day Schroth Camp, a structured and intensive rehabilitation program designed to help participants learn personalized corrective exercises and take ownership of their spinal health.
The Singapore camp is led by Aleksandra Ilić, an internationally certified Schroth therapist and instructor with years of global experience in scoliosis rehabilitation.
What is Schroth Camp?
Schroth Camp is a short-term, high-impact physiotherapy program based on the world-renowned Schroth method. Originating from Germany and refined globally, this method has been used to manage spinal deformities non-surgically for decades. The Singapore Schroth Camp adapts the proven model into a 4-day intensive experience, led by Aleksandra Ilić, whose expertise ensures participants receive the highest standard of individualized care.
The Schroth approach focuses on correction and control of spinal deformities through targeted exercises and breathing techniques. The goal is to improve posture, reduce asymmetries, enhance breathing mechanics, and most importantly – empower the participant with a customized home program they can continue independently.
Who Is It For?
This camp is ideal for:
- Children (ages 10 and up) and teens with diagnosed scoliosis, kyphosis, or lordosis
- Adults seeking conservative alternatives to surgery
- Individuals with poor posture, spinal asymmetry, or back pain related to alignment issues
- Anyone looking to better understand their condition and take control of their long-term spinal health
There is no upper age limit, and the program is adaptable to different severity levels and physical capacities.
